Network Requirements

Remote monitoring requires a DECnet or LAT network.

TCP/IP is supported using DECnet-Plus or "DEcnet Services for TCP/IP" (a component of the MultiNet TCP/IP stack).

Privileges Required

OPER, SECURITY.
Other privileges as required by specific responses to OPCOM broadcasts.

Available Response Actions

Notification via Mail, Print, Rebroadcast to other terminals.
DCL command execution (in-line or via batch job).
Automatic Reply to OPCOM requests.
Miscellaneous internal control functions.

Operator Console

Monitors local and remote systems, highlights & holds user requests until appropriate action taken.
